Posted by: Jonathan Blake on Tue, Feb 27, 2007 Youth trip last fall. The CKA Youth Group (now called "Oasis") went on an evangelism trip to Steelville, MO. We helped Pastor Godbey with some door-to-door outreach, and then we had a Children's Crusade. We had a great time with the Godbey family. The Godbey's are starting a church in Steelville. Take a look at the pictures.
Another Pastor Godbey, Norman Lee Godbey, was born in Webb City Mo. His father is buried in Steelville cemetery. I believe Father's name-my grandfather- was Thomas Godbey. He died in 1913. Donald Norman Godbey
